2022 Women in Medicine Event – Clifton Strengths Assessment

A group of women gathered in the evening of Tuesday, March 29 at the Bloomington Country Club to learn more about the Clifton Strengths philosophy and how to apply their own strengths in their lives. The event was hosted by MOCMS Women in Medicine. The Clifton Strengths assessment, designed by educational psychologist Dr. Donald Clifton and administered by the Gallup organization, helps individuals discover their top talent themes of 34 common, universal talents. These talents are organized into four domains: executing, influencing, relationship building, and strategic thinking.

Each participant completed the assessment prior to the workshop. During the seminar, they worked together to learn more about these strengths by working through several activities, led by Dr. Emily Manlove. “I first took the Clifton Strengths assessment when I was finishing with residency, and it made a huge impact on my career. I enjoy sharing this tool with others and learning more about how we can apply our strengths.”
