The MOCMS book club met at Bryan Park Woodlawn Shelter House in Bloomington, Indiana on October 1, 2020, to discuss the book “Black Man in a White Coat: A Doctor’s Reflections on Race and Medicine” by Dr. Damon Tweedy. The discussion sparked a thought-provoking, meaningful conversation and broadened our views regarding unconscious bias and racial disparities in medicine.
