The Monroe Owen County Medical Society (MOCMS) is a professional organization of physicians in Monroe and Owen County, Indiana, established in 1940. The society provides member physicians who practice or live in Monroe or Owen County, Indiana, with the resources they need to improve their well-being and professional status within the community.

Any physician who resides in or practices medicine in Monroe or Owen County, Indiana, that abides by the principles of medical ethics as promulgated by the AMA, can join MOCMS. We provide several membership options to accommodate practicing and retired physicians, as well as dues-exempt options for honorary members and those in need of financial assistance.

Any physician who resides in or practices medicine in Monroe or Owen County, Indiana, that abides by the principles of medical ethics as promulgated by the AMA, can join MOCMS. Interested physicians can apply for membership directly from our website or by visiting the ISMA.

Dues-exempt membership is available for physicians who are disabled, inactive, facing financial hardship, resident physicians, medical students, or in the military. Requests for exemption are considered on an individual basis.
